Speaking to PEOPLE at the festival, Flay expressed his enthusiasm for the impending milestone. “Our one-year anniversary of being together is coming up, so that’s what we’re up to,” he revealed. The duo will be spending five days in Japan, with Williamson taking charge of planning their culinary adventure.

Flay, 61, acknowledged Williamson’s organisational skills: “She’s doing it all because I’m not a Tokyo expert by any means,” he admitted. “Brooke is so focused on where we’re eating and where we’re going. So if you have any questions about what we’re doing, you need to call her.”
