Supermodel Kendall Jenner recently shared a glimpse of her brand-new retreat nestled in the mountains. Featured in a video tour with Architectural Digest, Jenner showcased her first “ground-up build,” a stunning vacation sanctuary she meticulously designed to embody her long-held vision of the perfect getaway.
Situated in a top-secret mountain location, the property serves as Jenner’s personal oasis, providing a serene escape from bustling Los Angeles where she can relax and unwind with loved ones. During the tour, she revealed her excitement about crafting a space that would facilitate cherished moments and meaningful connections with friends and family.
Collaborating with designer Heidi Callier, Jenner curated a unique “grandma-chic” aesthetic for the home, embracing a blend of eclectic patterns, fabrics, and textures that reflect her bold and adventurous style. From the eye-catching floral sectional in the living room to the carefully curated collection of books from local antique shops, every detail exudes a sense of comfort and sophistication.
In the kitchen, Jenner highlighted a fireplace concept inspired by her mother, Kris Jenner, which added a cozy touch to the space. Embracing a neutral color palette accented by playful red-and-white checkered floors and a blue oven, the kitchen exudes warmth and character, perfectly complementing the surrounding mountain environment.
Venturing into her bedroom, Jenner shared her affection for the room’s design, featuring reclaimed wood beams that evoke a sense of nostalgia and tranquillity. Describing it as a blend of maturity and youthful whimsy, she expressed how the space inspires her to indulge in reading and embrace her inner child-like spirit.
The bathroom, adorned with burgundy walls and matching tiles, reflects Jenner’s personal style preferences, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. Additional spaces within the home include a unique “adult bunk bed room,” envisioned as a cosy retreat for guests and potentially Jenner’s future children, showcasing her thoughtful and inclusive design approach.
Outside, Jenner repurposed a Bambi Airstream into a stylish guest room, complete with a zinc bathtub and kitchenette. This innovative addition not only adds a touch of charm to the property but also highlights Jenner’s creativity and attention to detail in transforming spaces to suit her needs and preferences.
Overall, Jenner’s new mountain retreat symbolises a departure from her comfort zone, with the model embracing new design elements and pushing her creative boundaries. The home stands as a testament to her vision and passion for creating inviting and personal spaces that reflect her unique personality and style.
As Jenner continues to explore her passion for design and real estate, her latest project serves as a testament to her evolving tastes and preferences, offering a glimpse into her world beyond the runway. With a blend of sophistication, comfort, and creativity, Kendall Jenner’s new home embodies a harmonious fusion of style and functionality, inviting viewers to experience a slice of her idyllic mountain lifestyle.
