In a shocking revelation, a North Carolina father, Wellington Delano Dickens III, who is facing four counts of murder for allegedly killing his three children and stepson, has now admitted to also burying a fifth child, a 1-month-old baby named Riley.
According to reports from NBC News, WBTV, and Spectrum News 1, Dickens claimed that Riley, his son, passed away shortly after the family moved to a home in Zebulon, east of Raleigh. The father stated that the infant had poor health before his death, leading him to bury the baby in the woods. Family members disclosed that they never saw or heard about Riley after their relocation to Zebulon.
The tragic details emerged when Dickens called authorities on October 27 to confess to the killings of his other children. The victims were later identified as Leah Dickens, 6, Zoe Dickens, 9, Wellington Dickens IV, 10, and Sean Brasfield, 18, Dickens’ stepson. Leah was found deceased in May, reportedly after being disciplined by her father, while Zoe succumbed after Dickens allegedly restrained her from speaking about her late sister.
