Baked By Melissa, the renowned bakery chain, is ushering in the arrival of Season 5 of ‘Emily in Paris’ with a new and exclusive collection. The Netflix Original series, headlined by Lily Collins, is slated to debut on December 18. This collaboration marks a fusion of delectable treats with the glamour and charm synonymous with the show.
The limited-time collection comprises a range of “Cupcarons”, a unique blend of cupcakes and macarons that have become a fan favorite. These exquisite creations are making a comeback after over a decade, offering a mix of classic flavours and new delights inspired by the essence of the beloved TV series. The collection will showcase three Cupcarons from past seasons alongside a novel addition, the Chocolate Rose.

Each Cupcaron, available in 12- and 25-piece assortments priced at $19 and $37 respectively, boasts a distinctive flavour profile with surprise fillings at the core. The offerings include the Strawberry Crepe Cupcaron, featuring a strawberry cupcake filled with Nutella and topped with a white macaron shell and dark chocolate drizzle. Another highlight is the Rainbow Cookie Cupcaron, a tribute to Italy’s almond cookie, layered with almond cake, strawberry jam, chocolate icing, and rainbow nonpareils.
The Salted Caramel Cupcaron blends vanilla cake with coffee filling, coffee icing, and a salted caramel macaron shell for a more indulgent taste experience. The newest addition, Chocolate Rose, showcases rich chocolate cake paired with hot pink vanilla icing, making it an ideal treat for gatherings, watch parties, or personal indulgence.
Melissa Ben-Ishay, CEO and co-founder of Baked By Melissa, expressed her excitement at reimagining their signature cupcakes through a Parisian lens for the Season 5 premiere of ‘Emily in Paris’. The return of Cupcarons after a decade adds a touch of nostalgia and flavour explosion, perfect for sharing during watch parties or while embracing one’s inner Emily Cooper.
The upcoming season of ‘Emily in Paris’ will see the protagonist, Emily Cooper, portrayed by Lily Collins, exploring new professional and romantic landscapes as she takes on the role of the head of Agence Grateau’s Rome office. Creator Darren Star has hinted at fresh adventures, unexpected twists, and exciting relationships ahead for the fashion-forward character. This promises a tale of two cities – Rome and Paris – offering viewers a delightful blend of escapades and new beginnings.
