Grammy-winning artist SZA is making headlines for her philanthropic efforts in Los Angeles. The singer, known for hits like “Good Days,” has joined forces with a local restaurant to provide much-needed support to SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) recipients affected by recent government shutdowns.

On November 10, SZA took to Instagram to announce the collaboration between her non-profit organization, NOT Charity, and Jon & Vinny’s, an Italian eatery with multiple locations across Los Angeles. The restaurant shared a post expressing gratitude for SZA’s initiative, stating, “Last week @sza reached out to us with an idea and now, with her help, it’s a reality.”
Through their partnership, SZA and Jon & Vinny’s will be offering 1400 free meals to individuals and families in the Los Angeles community who rely on SNAP benefits.
