Dancing with the Stars Celebrates Disney Night with Spectacular Performances

As the 11 couples head into week 4 of the competition on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34, they will be embracing the magic of Disney on the upcoming episode airing on Tuesday, October 7. In honour of the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort, the show will feature performances inspired by iconic Disney songs and attractions, bringing a touch of enchantment to the ballroom.
The opening number will kick off with a rendition of “Be Our Guest” from the beloved film “Beauty and the Beast,” with a special appearance by Danny Gardner, known for his role as Lumière in the North American Tour of Beauty and the Beast. The night will also include captivating performances by the DWTS troupe to tunes like “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” from Tron: Ares, and “The Tiki Tiki Tiki Room” from Walt Disney’s “Enchanted Tiki Room.”

Each couple will showcase their skills with unique dances and styles, all set to Disney melodies, after a visit to Disneyland to get into the magical spirit. From Jazz to Quickstep, Viennese Waltz to Cha Cha, the contestants will bring Disney magic to life on the dance floor.
Journalist Liza Esquibias reports that the lineup includes stars like Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik performing a Jazz routine to “Friend Like Me” from Aladdin, Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko dancing a Quickstep to “Cantina Band” from Star Wars: A New Hope, and Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and partner Ezra Sosa taking on a Quickstep to “Special Spice” from “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure” ride.
Social media personality Alix Earle and partner Val Chmerkovskiy will showcase a Viennese Waltz to “Once Upon a Dream” from Maleficent, while wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and partner Witney Carson will bring the Cha Cha to “Try Everything” from Zootopia. The diverse range of performances promises a night filled with Disney magic and dazzling displays of talent.
