It means pure or to bear Christ, and I love that so much.” She felt a deep significance in the name and prayed for her daughter to embody purity and bear Christ in her life.

Sadie recounted how she came across the name Kit on a book beside the Princess Bride and later received gifts from the hotel owner, whose name happened to be Kit. These synchronicities left Sadie and Christian in awe and confirmed to them that their daughter was indeed meant to be named Kit.
