Television’s biggest night is fast approaching, with the 77th Emmy Awards set to take place on September 14th, honouring the best in comedy, drama, and limited series. This year’s ceremony, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze, will showcase a mix of newcomers and returning favourites, with shows such as Netflix’s “Nobody Wants This” and Apple TV+’s “Severance” leading the nominations.

Winning an Emmy not only brings bragging rights but also the coveted golden statuette to display proudly. However, even those who don’t snag the trophy in their category can still come away with a prize thanks to the Emmy Awards Giving Suite. This exclusive experience offers presenters and nominees the chance to choose from a curated selection of luxury products and services backstage during the rehearsals and live telecast.

Distinctive Assets, a marketing company known for producing similar suites for major award shows, will be orchestrating this year’s Giving Suite. Nominees can expect to find an array of lavish items from brands like Miage Skincare, Blooms by Maison d’Emilie, HydroJug, and more.
In addition to the Giving Suite, talent will also receive an Emmys Gift Bag filled with goodies from wellness, beauty, and lifestyle brands. Beauty enthusiasts can look forward to products from L’Oréal Paris, Chanla Chau Cosmetics, and Redken NYC, while wellness items from 1MD Nutrition’s VisionMD, Beekeeper’s Naturals, and Vital Proteins will also be included.
Contrary to popular belief, not all winners get to take home a physical Emmy statue. Only one statue is awarded per winning entry, with the name approved in credits being engraved on it. Networks, studios, or production companies involved may also receive commemorative statues, and there are certificates available for nominees and contributors to recognised projects.
While the value of this year’s Giving Suite items is yet to be revealed, previous suites have been reported to offer products from small and minority-owned businesses. Brands have paid between $6,000 to feature their products in the bags and up to $250,000 for a space in the suite, where stars can browse and select their desired items. Recipients of gifts valued over $600 in the past were required to pay taxes on them.
Beyond just gifting celebrities, the Giving Suite also serves a charitable purpose by fundraising for the Television Academy Foundation. Over the past decade, this initiative has raised over one million dollars to support industry access for students from diverse backgrounds and fund programs like the Internship and College Television Awards.
As the glamour of the Emmy Awards unfolds, it’s not just about the red carpet and glamorous gowns, but also about the generous gifts that nominees and presenters receive as a token of appreciation. The Giving Suite adds an extra touch of luxury and exclusivity to an already star-studded event, while also contributing to a meaningful cause within the television industry.
So, whether it’s the thrill of winning or the excitement of choosing products at the Giving Suite, the Emmy Awards promise an unforgettable experience for all involved.
