The iconic Burrillville, R.I., farmhouse that served as the inspiration for the renowned Perron family will soon hit the auction block, organised by JJManning Auctioneers.

The eerie residence, famously linked to “The Conjuring” film series, will be open for bidding starting on Halloween day at 11 a.m. local time, as revealed by the New England-based auction house, JJManning Auctioneers.

The historic property, where the Perron family once resided, provided the backdrop for the first film in “The Conjuring” series, debuting in 2013. This tale portrayed the real-life Warrens, Ed & Lorraine, as they battled supernatural forces to rescue families from malevolent spirits.
The Perron family’s dwelling, nestled in Burrillville, Rhode Island, has since enthralled horror enthusiasts, prompting the official auction announcement on the auction house’s website.
Labelled as a site of “historical paranormal sightings and activity,” the infamous farmhouse offers a unique opportunity for fans of the supernatural to make a bid for the property this Halloween.
The 3,000-square-foot abode, a popular landmark for its ghostly encounters, is expected to attract a wide array of potential buyers, according to JJManning Auctioneers president, Justin J. Manning, who anticipates lively competition during the auction.
Over the years, JJManning Auctioneers has overseen the sale of several significant properties, including Susan B. Anthony’s birthplace and Myles Standish’s childhood home. However, the upcoming auction for the ‘Conjuring’ farmhouse has already sparked tremendous interest surpassing previous sales.
People’s very own Julie Jordan once recounted her spine-chilling overnight stay at the house, dated back to 1736. Her encounter at the haunted farmhouse left her with vivid memories of unexplainable events, such as motion detectors activating, objects moving mysteriously, and books falling from shelves.
Previously sold for $1.5 million in May 2022, the property’s former owner, Jacqueline Nuñez, faced legal troubles, resulting in a loss of the property’s entertainment license in December.
In a separate incident, comedian Matt Rife made headlines after acquiring the real-life residence and museum of Ed and Lorraine Warren in Monroe, Connecticut, including the eerie Annabelle doll.
As the final installment of “The Conjuring” series, “The Conjuring: Last Rites,” premiered in early September, lead actors Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga expressed their thoughts on Rife’s acquisition and bid farewell to their iconic roles portraying the Warrens.
Don’t miss out on the chance to delve into the supernatural world of ‘The Conjuring’ franchise as Halloween approaches, offering an exclusive opportunity to own a piece of cinematic history.
