This is your dream, go do it, and whatever money you make is mine.”

Latimer shared his perspective on the challenge, stating, “Of course, I would love to hear if my baby’s born healthy and stuff like that, but at the same time, they can’t favor me and then not tell other people what’s happening with their families back home. So I’m just going into it as no news is good news.”

Survivor host Jeff Probst verified that no special arrangements were made for Latimer during his time on the show. Probst emphasised that the rules of the game dictate minimal contact with the outside world, with exceptions only in urgent situations.
