Baskette, an advocate for indulging in moments of childlike joy, shared how building Lego sets has become a source of happiness in her life. The Lego Botanicals Succulents set holds a special place in her collection, gifted by her sister and proudly displayed on her living room windowsill. As she recently moved into a new apartment, she expressed excitement at the prospect of showcasing these Lego plants once again. The set provides a dual purpose for Baskette, offering a creative outlet and serving as a lasting, maintenance-free decor piece for her home.
Measuring over 5 inches tall and 6.5 inches wide when fully assembled, the Lego Botanicals Succulents set is ideal for various display options such as bookshelves, coffee tables, and desks. The ease of construction makes it accessible to builders of different skill levels, with the repetitive nature of building the plant bases transitioning into the intricate detailing of the plants themselves. Each of the nine succulents is modelled after real plants like Aloe vera and lavender echeveria, adding an educational element to the building process.
One of the delightful features of this Lego set is the attention to detail in replicating actual plant species, complete with informational pages on the scientific background of each plant. This not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the set but also makes for interesting conversation starters with guests. While the Lego plants may accumulate dust over time, a gentle dusting routine can help maintain their vibrancy and charm, ensuring they remain a captivating decor element in any space.
For those looking to infuse a bit of playfulness and creativity into their home decor, the Lego Botanicals Succulents set offers a fun and engaging DIY project. As part of a range of verdant builds available, including miniature orchids and bonsai trees, this set allows individuals to personalise their living spaces with a touch of nature-inspired charm.
