The victim, known only as Jane Doe as she was not in possession of any identification, was captured on surveillance footage appearing to be intoxicated, struggling to maintain her balance as she sat on the church steps. It was reported that Mohamed sat beside her, initiating physical contact as she drifted in and out of consciousness, resisting his advances in vain. Subsequently, Mohamed proceeded to lift her from the steps, place her on the ground, and proceeded to commit repeated acts of sexual assault, according to police statements.

Tragically, the woman was swiftly transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries shortly after her arrival. With no identification on her person, authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy and fingerprint analysis to determine her identity. Meanwhile, Mohamed was apprehended by the fire crew and subsequently taken into custody by law enforcement. Despite his arrest, Mohamed declined to provide any statements during police questioning, and a bond of $300,000 was set by a judicial commissioner.
