Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, two celebrated players from the Kansas City Chiefs, recently teamed up to provide a tantalising sneak peek of the menu at their upcoming steakhouse, 1587 Prime. In a video shared on the official Instagram account of 1587 Prime Steakhouse, Kelce and Mahomes can be seen trying out prime steak cuts and butter variations that will be on offer at the Kansas City location. The tasting menu included a range of butter options like white truffle, chiles toreados, bone marrow, garlic, and hibiscus, as well as condiments such as truffle soy and chimichurri.
As Kelce excitedly reached for one of the butters, he expressed his immediate approval, stating, “I could just tell from the first bite that that was going to be a ‘yeah.’” Meanwhile, Mahomes was visibly impressed by the offerings, leaning back in his chair and applauding as he recommended a particular butter to Kelce.
