A couple has recently become new parents to quadruplets and they have shared the heartwarming inspiration behind the names they have chosen for their four babies. Aja Kennon and Emmanuel Volmar welcomed their three boys and one girl on July 1. These beautiful babies have been named Ean, Evan, Alayha, and Eamon. This joyous occasion took place at the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, where the babies were delivered safely.

The director of Neonatology at the medical center, Dr. Joanne Bishara, expressed the rarity of naturally conceiving quadruplets, mentioning that the odds stand at about 1 in 700,000. Aja Kennon recalls the moment during her ultrasound appointment when they discovered they were expecting quadruplets. The amazement and excitement in the room were palpable as the technician counted one, two, three, and then revealed the fourth baby on the screen.

The couple, who already have an 8-year-old son, were initially taken aback by the news of expanding their family to seven. Emmanuel Volmar admitted to being in shock and even thought it was a joke at first, especially given that the news came around April Fool’s Day. Despite the initial surprise, the parents are embracing their new reality with love and determination.
The birth of the quadruplets, who arrived at 34 weeks, brought immense joy to the family. The babies were born healthy, with three of them weighing over 4 lbs and one weighing over 5 lbs. Dr. Bishara commended the smooth delivery, stating that all the babies came into the world breathing spontaneously and doing well, attributing it to a higher power.
The naming process was a thoughtful one for the parents. They decided on names that start with the letter ‘E’ for their boys, taking after their father’s name, Emmanuel. For their baby girl, they chose the name Alayha, reflecting the first letter of her mother’s name. This naming tradition not only holds significance but also ties the family together in a special way.
While the household is brimming with love and excitement, the parents admit that sleep has been elusive with four newborns to care for. Big brother Emmanuel Jr., aged 8, has stepped up to help his parents with his new siblings, eagerly participating in their care routines. This familial bond and sense of responsibility are heartwarming to witness.
Looking ahead, the couple is filled with gratitude for their blessings and remains optimistic about the future. They believe in facing whatever challenges come their way together as a family. Aja Kennon expresses her faith in being able to handle all that comes their way, supported by the belief that they will receive no more than they can manage. Emmanuel Volmar echoes the sentiment, expressing love and devotion to his growing family.
In a world where stories of love and togetherness shine brightly, the journey of Aja Kennon and Emmanuel Volmar with their quadruplets serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration. As they navigate the joys and trials of parenthood, their bond and unwavering love for their children illuminate a path of resilience and unity. The arrival of Ean, Evan, Alayha, and Eamon has not only enriched their lives but also brought a newfound sense of purpose and joy to their family.
