An Australian influencer has taken social media by storm with her impressive body art collection, which boasts a total of 250 tattoos covering nearly her entire body, from her chest down to her feet, and even her buttocks. Over the course of five years, she has invested approximately £26,000 in themed tattoos spread across multiple seven-hour sessions.

Blue Valentine, a 28-year-old content creator based in Melbourne, shares her journey to achieving what she calls her tattoo “body suit.” While she always had a love for tattoos, she initially approached the process cautiously, starting with a small traditional flower tattoo on her ribs. Despite the initial pain, she quickly embarked on more extensive projects, such as her first sleeve a week later.

Valentine’s tattoos are not just random pieces of art. Each section of her body features a different theme, including Diner, Military, Sailor, Circus, Garage, Western, and Vintage, all inspired by 1950s pin-up culture. These themed tattoos also influence her daily style choices, creating a cohesive and visually striking look.
One of Valentine’s favourite tattoos is the bold statement piece on her throat that reads ‘Not your Valentine,’ a representation of her strong personality. She also cherishes tattoos representing her family, including images of her parents, brother, grandparents, and dogs. Despite the pain and financial investment, Valentine has no regrets about the extensive artwork that adorns her body.
Valentine meticulously plans each tattoo, sketching out concepts on her iPad before collaborating with her tattoo artists to bring her vision to life. Working with three different Australian artists, she undergoes intensive, long sessions every week or bi-weekly to complete each sleeve or themed section, often spending around £400 per session.
While Valentine’s tattoos have garnered her a considerable following online, she admits that her appearance sometimes attracts negative attention in real life. As a bar manager, she faces frequent harassment and inappropriate questions from strangers. However, she remains proud of her tattoos, viewing them as a reflection of her personal journey and individuality.
Despite the challenges, Valentine’s partner supports her tattoo transformation wholeheartedly. With only a few untouched areas left on her body, she plans to continue adding more ink, with her ears next in line for a new design. However, she draws the line at tattooing her face, preferring to keep it bare.
Valentine’s story serves as a testament to self-expression and confidence through body art, showcasing the powerful impact that tattoos can have on one’s personal journey. Her transformation is not just skin deep; it is a reflection of her individuality and unwavering self-assurance in embracing her unique identity.
