Former Miss America Madison Marsh recently exchanged vows with Air Force pilot Walker Morris in a wedding that seemed straight out of a fairytale. The Bridgerton-inspired ceremony took place at Morris’ family estate in Bridgewater, Conn., on Saturday, July 5, surrounded by 141 guests.

The couple shared their desire for a wedding that was intimate, focused on their legacy, their love for the country, and cherished moments with family and friends. The Morris family estate, where the wedding unfolded, holds a special place in their hearts as it symbolizes the American dream of building a life and family from scratch.
The morning of the wedding saw Marsh, an active duty Air Force officer and Harvard Kennedy School master’s student, preparing for her big day alongside her sisters and close friends. Meanwhile, Morris enjoyed some downtime with his groomsmen, engaging in some sports activities before the enchanting ceremony commenced.
The romantic ceremony was held in the West English Garden, adorned with a stunning floral arch featuring the bride’s favorite flowers in shades of cream, blush pink, and periwinkle blue. The meticulous floral arrangements were orchestrated by Tyler Keeno of TK Floral Designs, creating a picturesque setting for the couple to say their vows.
Throughout the ceremony, a live string trio from Elegant Music Group ensured a melodic backdrop, setting a romantic and timeless atmosphere for the event. The bridesmaids, dressed in elegant blue gowns, walked down the aisle to the sounds of the “Main Theme” from Bridgerton, adding to the whimsical ambiance of the day.
Escorted by her father, Marsh made her grand entrance to the tune of Des’ree’s “Kissing You,” a song that held special significance for the couple since their engagement at the Boston Opera House in January 2024. Marsh looked radiant in a custom Ines Di Santo Chantilly lace gown with a six-foot train, accentuated by a cathedral-length veil, reflecting her vision of a timeless yet unique bridal look.
To honour her late mother, Marsh had her mother’s initials tattooed on her arm and kept a framed photograph of her mother alongside her favorite flower, a white lily, on an empty chair during the ceremony. The wedding was officiated by Marsh’s uncle, Jim Bohlman, who orchestrated a surprise flyover by a yellow aerobatic plane as a nod to the couple’s aviation backgrounds.
After exchanging heartfelt vows, Morris and Marsh partook in the “Arching of the Sabers,” a revered military tradition where the newlyweds walk beneath a sabre arch held by fellow service members. The magic of the day continued with a meticulously planned reception in the East English Garden, illuminated by natural lighting and exuding an open-air charm.
Guests were treated to a delightful plated meal, followed by an array of desserts, including a wedding cake that bore special significance as it was prepared by a local bakery that had been a part of Morris’ family traditions for years. The evening was filled with joy and high spirits, fuelled by live music and an open bar, keeping the dance floor buzzing with energy.
As the festivities unfolded, Marsh chose to slip into a more comfortable dress from Zara to fully immerse herself in the celebrations, culminating in an evening filled with laughter, dancing, and even a poolside rendezvous with loved ones. The couple’s first dance to “In Your Love” by Tyler Childers encapsulated their unwavering bond, signifying their commitment to weather all challenges together.
As they look towards the future, Marsh and Morris anticipate graduating and embarking on new adventures together, with hopes of being stationed at the same location soon. Their enchanting wedding celebration, filled with personal touches and heartfelt moments, will forever hold a special place in their hearts as they begin this new chapter as husband and wife.
