Shah Rukh Khan, often referred to as the “King of Bollywood,” is known as a dedicated family man to his three children – Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. The actor, known as SRK, and his wife, Gauri Khan, have been married for over 30 years after tying the knot on Oct. 25, 1991. The family expanded with the birth of their son Aryan in November 1997, followed by daughter Suhana in May 2000, and their son AbRam in May 2013, born via a surrogate.

The loss of his parents at a young age has greatly influenced SRK’s views on family. He has openly shared how this tragedy not only drove him towards achieving success in his career but also shaped his approach to fatherhood. At the Global Freight Summit in November 2024, SRK spoke about his determination to ensure his children lead happy and healthy lives. He emphasised his children being beautiful, lovely, loving, and hardworking individuals.
As Aryan and Suhana transition into adulthood, they seem to be following their father’s footsteps in the entertainment industry. While AbRam is still at a young age, he has also shown an interest in the arts. However, SRK respects his children’s autonomy in choosing their career paths. He has expressed his desire to share his experiences with his children rather than imposing his own dreams on them, highlighting the importance of individual choice and freedom.
Aryan Khan, at 27, has delved into filmmaking and entrepreneurship after graduating from the University of Southern California in 2020. He co-founded SLAB Ventures, a lifestyle company, under which he launched D’YAVOL Vodka and D’YAVOL X, a luxury streetwear clothing brand. Aryan’s career choice aligns with his passion, a principle instilled by his parents, who have been supportive of his ventures. His upcoming directorial debut with the drama series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood on Netflix in 2025, showcases his commitment to the industry.
Suhana Khan, 25, has carved her path in the creative field of modelling and acting, following her father’s legacy. After completing a year-long acting programme at New York University in 2016, she made her acting debut in the short film The Grey Part of Blue. Suhana’s upcoming role in the movie King, alongside her father, reflects her growing presence in the entertainment industry. SRK has acknowledged his daughter’s talent and independence, emphasising the importance of pursuing one’s passions authentically.
AbRam Khan, aged 12, has brought joy and cheer to his family since his premature birth in 2013. Despite his young age, AbRam has exhibited a protective and caring nature towards his father. While his future career path remains uncertain, AbRam has already embarked on voice acting alongside SRK in the Hindi version of Mufasa: The Lion King. His endearing personality and love for fun have made him a cherished member of the Khan family.
Shah Rukh Khan’s children, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam, represent a blend of talent, ambition, and individuality nurtured within a loving and supportive family environment. Their unique paths in the entertainment industry reflect their commitment to pursuing their passions while embracing their father’s enduring legacy. As they navigate their careers, guided by their own aspirations and dreams, the Khan siblings continue to captivate audiences with their talent and dedication.
