The man allegedly responsible for the shooting of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses has been identified as Vance Boelter. Vance Boelter was arrested on June 15 after the tragic events that took place in the early hours of June 14, where he allegedly shot two Democratic Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses. Boelter, who was living in Green Isle, Minn., managed to evade authorities for nearly two days before being apprehended by law enforcement. The Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, stated that the shootings were believed to be politically motivated, although the exact motivations behind the attacks have yet to be officially confirmed.
The incident unfolded when Boelter reportedly impersonated a law enforcement official and shot Sen. Hoffman and his wife at their home. He then proceeded to the home of Rep.
