Abby Jimenez, the renowned author and founder of Nadia Cakes, recently opened up about the book series that sparked her enduring love for reading in an exclusive interview. The trio of authors has teamed up with Sonic to introduce the Sweet Topped Lemonades as part of a summer launch initiative. These refreshing drinks, available in Classic Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, and Blueberry Lavender Lemonade flavours, are designed to accompany a relaxing summer read at the beach. The drinks can be accessed via the Sonic App from May 27 and will be available nationwide from June 2.

Despite her love for reading, Jimenez hinted at prioritising writing over reading during the upcoming summer to focus on completing her ninth book. As part of their collaboration, Sonic will be working with the nonprofit organisation First Book to distribute 100,000 books to children in underserved communities across America, aiming to enhance access to quality education.
Reflecting on her early reading experiences, Jimenez credited her passion for writing to her voracious reading habits as a child. While she devoured Dr. Seuss books, it was the Xanth series by Piers Anthony that truly cemented her love for books.
