The incident took place at a home on Citrus Landing Boulevard in Davenport, where Garcia, his wife, Adriane Daza, her two minor children aged 9 and 11, and her adult son, Azareel J. When the mother attempted to confiscate the phone, the child retrieved a handgun from her nightstand.
