The Western film, set in the 1870s Montana, stars the legendary Samuel L. Jackson alongside Brosnan. It poses the intriguing question of who would win in a showdown – Jackson or Brosnan?
The trailer showcases Brosnan as Irish lawman Gabriel Dove and Jackson as the mysterious outlaw known as St. Christopher. Jackson delivers a powerful line, “Man don’t know what he is ’til his back’s against the wall,” setting the stage for a tale of revenge, dark secrets and buried treasures.
“The Unholy Trinity” delves into the story of Henry, tasked with the impossible mission of avenging his father Isaac’s wrongful conviction. The ensemble cast includes Tim Daly, Brandon Lessard, Ethan Peck, Q’orianka Kilcher, Veronica Ferres, David Arquette, Gianni Capaldi and Katrina Bowden.
In a heartwarming twist, two of Pierce Brosnan’s sons, Paris and Dylan, feature in the film. Brosnan, who shares his sons with wife Keely Shaye Smith, expressed his support for their acting aspirations, stating, “If they want to be actors, I am not going to stop them. They know how difficult it is.”
Brosnan’s love for Westerns shines through as he shares, “I grew up watching them as a boy,” emphasizing his personal connection to the genre. He describes his character as a decent man, reflecting on the Irish immigrants who played a significant role in the development of the West.

Directed by Richard Gray and written by Lee Zachariah, “The Unholy Trinity” received acclaim during its premiere at the Zurich Film Festival. The film was granted an interim agreement during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike, showcasing its resilience and artistry.
