A distressing video has emerged depicting the arrest of a mother accused of fatally slitting her son’s throat after a trip to Disneyland in Santa Ana, California. The Orange County District Attorney’s Office disclosed that the grim incident unfolded at the La Quinta Inn & Suites on March 19. The woman in question, 48-year-old Saritha Ramaraju, has been taken into custody and charged with murder.

Ramaraju allegedly informed a 911 operator herself that she had fatally stabbed her son, as per the DA’s office statement. She further disclosed to the police that she carried out the dreadful act before attempting suicide by ingesting pills. At the time of the incident, the child was on a custody visit with his mother, following their return from a three-day visit to Disneyland. The father, from whom Ramaraju was divorced in 2018, was slated to have the boy back in his care on the day the unspeakable crime occurred.
During the investigation, law enforcement discovered the young boy’s lifeless body amidst Disneyland souvenirs, with a large kitchen knife nearby, supposedly purchased the day prior to the tragic event. Following her initial arrest, Ramaraju was taken to the hospital after ingesting an unidentified substance.
