Subsequently, Martin Villalobos Junior, aged 27, was arrested and taken to Barton County Jail. The police disclosed that the suspect had previously resided at the location, but a protection order prevented him from being near the property.

Efforts to locate Villalobos Junior on the evening he was discovered hiding proved futile, leading officers to continue the search the following morning. The suspect was spotted in the 2000 block of Patton Road, prompting an attempted escape. Following a brief pursuit on foot, law enforcement apprehended him.

Villalobos Junior now faces charges including aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, child endangerment, felony obstruction of an officer, and violation of a protection order. He is currently being detained on a $500,000 bond. The Barton County Sheriff’s Office has not responded to requests for further information at this time.
