During an exclusive interview at JonasCon on Sunday, March 23, held at the American Dream mall in New Jersey, Kevin, 37, shared that his daughter is starting to show interest in his celebrity status. He disclosed, “Clout is starting to happen with my older one. She’s like, ‘Dad, can I get a box for the show on the 10th?'”
According to Kevin’s brother, Joe Jonas, Alena is already flaunting her connection to the Jonas Brothers to her friends. Joe humorously mentioned, “I saw her yesterday showing her friends on FaceTime stuff that she shouldn’t be showing them yet.” Kevin added, “She’s at that age now. She’s a pre-teen.”
The proud father acknowledged Alena’s requests with amusement, saying, “She’s like, ‘Dad, can I get my own box to invite my friends to the show on the 10th?’ I was like, ‘I’ll see what I can do for you, babe.’ So yeah, we’re at that point. But it’s exciting. I love it.” He expressed his pride in his role as a father and the mutual admiration within his family.
As the Jonas Brothers prepare for their upcoming Living the Dream Tour alongside Marshmello, The All-American Rejects, and Boys Like Girls, beginning on August 10 and running until November 14, Kevin is thrilled to perform at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Reflecting on their journey, he shared, “Growing up down the street and seeing this place, coming to a million Giants games, and even starting early and going to Continental Airlines Arena back in the day, it’s just like this is home for us. So to play this venue, it’s about damn time.”
