The Jonas Brothers have finally given fans an update on their highly anticipated memoir, nearly six years after announcing its title. During the recent JONASCON event held on Saturday, March 22, Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas shared insights into their forthcoming book “Blood” and revealed new details about the memoir that has been in the works for years.

At the event in New Jersey, a photo of the band’s upcoming book was unveiled, leading to a moment of humour on stage as they quipped about it being “the wrong slide.” Nick, the eldest brother at 32, explained, “There’s a lot of things in motion, and you know, we had that book ready to come out and we looked at each other and said, ‘our story is just beginning to be told. There’s a lot more we want to write.’ So please be patient as we continue to tell this story that each and every one of you are a part of.”
Acknowledging the long wait fans have endured, Joe, 35, likened the band’s 2013 breakup to a “tsunami” in an excerpt he shared on Instagram in June 2021. He described the internal turmoil he experienced but expressed optimism about rebuilding on a stronger foundation. Despite originally planning to release the memoir through Dey Street Books in November 2021, it was put on hold as the brothers felt their story was still evolving.
The Jonas Brothers used the occasion of their 20th anniversary to host a one-day JONASCON event in New Jersey, where they surprised attendees with live performances, announcements about their forthcoming album, the upcoming holiday movie “A Very Jonas Christmas,” and the release of Joe’s new album in May. Nick shared in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at the event that the planning process had been a fulfilling journey and a gesture of gratitude towards their fans.
The band’s memoir was initially intended to offer insights into their personal experiences, perspectives, and journeys throughout their time together – from their formation in 2005 to the breakup in 2013 and the subsequent reunion. Despite the initial excitement surrounding the book, the Jonas Brothers have reassured fans that while the memoir is not yet ready for release, they are dedicated to ensuring it authentically reflects their evolving narrative.
Throughout the years, the Jonas Brothers have not only captured the hearts of fans with their music but have also maintained a strong connection and engagement with their audience. Their candid reflections and updates on the memoir continue to showcase their commitment to sharing their journey with authenticity and sincerity.
As the brothers navigate the creative process and focus on living more experiences to enrich their story, fans are encouraged to remain patient and stay connected for further updates. The Jonas Brothers’ memoir promises to offer an intimate and revealing account of their lives, relationships, and evolution as individuals and artists, making it a highly anticipated read for fans eager to delve deeper into their story.
