Pregnant Alex Morgan Preparing for the Arrival of Her Baby Boy

Alex Morgan, the retired soccer star, is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her second child, a baby boy, with husband Servando Carrasco. The couple has shared an exclusive look at their baby boy’s ocean-themed nursery, as they prepare for his arrival in the coming weeks.
Partnering with Babylist to design the nursery, Morgan shared that they incorporated elements that they love the most – the beach, waves, and sun. The nursery reflects their passion for the sea, with details like a dark wood crib, a surfboard above the crib, ocean-themed curtains, and lime wash paint with wood panels on the wall.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Morgan expressed her excitement about the nursery, saying, “There’s really nothing I wished was different or more! We do have a balcony…so the next thing would be sprucing that up as I’m sure baby and I will appreciate some fresh air and ocean breeze.”
With just a few weeks left until her due date, Morgan shared that their daughter Charlie, aged 4, is thrilled about becoming a big sister and is eager to help organize clothes and diapers in her little brother’s room. The family is looking forward to welcoming the newest addition, with Morgan mentioning that everything fell into place at 38 weeks, leaving them prepared for the baby boy’s imminent arrival.
Reflecting on her daughter’s excitement, Morgan shared, “She wants to kiss my belly every day, say hello to baby brother every morning, say good night to him every night in my belly. She always wants her hand on my belly to feel him, so she does definitely understand, and it’s nice having almost a five-year age gap because I feel like she will be a little more understanding of the situation.”
The soccer star also expressed her joy at welcoming a baby boy, mentioning that both she and her husband were ecstatic about the news. Morgan highlighted the special bond her daughter and her future son will share, with Charlie eagerly awaiting the opportunity to be a little helper in taking care of her baby brother.
