An 11-year-old boy tragically lost his life in upstate New York after calling his mother for help following a shooting incident. The young boy, Jeremiah Huff, was allegedly shot by his father, David Huff, who also took the life of his girlfriend, Yeraldith Tschudy. Responding to a call, police arrived at a residence on Roney Road around 9:34 p.m., where they discovered the lifeless bodies of Jeremiah and Tschudy, both succumbed to apparent gunshot wounds, according to the criminal complaint. Jeremiah’s mother, Samantha Gallup-Peltier, recounted receiving a distressing call from her son just before he tragically passed away before her arrival at the scene. She expressed her grief to reporters following David Huff’s arraignment, stating her profound loss and the emptiness she now faces without her son.

Onondaga County District Attorney Bill Fitzpatrick highlighted the heart-wrenching ordeal Samantha endured, listening helplessly as her son was murdered over the phone.
