American football superstar Aaron Rodgers has been discreetly supporting aspiring professional golfers by donating money through the online payment platform Venmo. This revelation comes from social media influencer Ryan French, who operates the “Monday Q Info” page on X.com. French has been a longstanding advocate for young and struggling golfers, raising funds via his platform and transferring them directly to the recipients.

During an episode of the GOLF Subpar podcast on March 19, French disclosed that Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP at 41, has become one of his major benefactors in recent years. French shared the story of how he first encountered Rodgers’ involvement when he noticed an account under the NFL star’s name during a live stream of a golf tournament. Despite initially thinking it was a hoax, Rodgers later reached out to him, sparking a supportive relationship.
According to French, Rodgers now actively inquires about the golfers French assists and contributes financially to their cause. French expressed his gratitude towards Rodgers, stating, “He’s been super nice. He wants to keep this on the down low, so now I’m going to tell it on the pod.” Rodgers’ contributions are either channelled through French on Venmo to the players or done anonymously via GoFundMe.
Rodgers, known for his passion for golf, participates in the sport himself and has claimed victories in prestigious events such as the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am. Additionally, he engaged in “The Match,” an exhibition golf series where he partnered with professional golfers like Bryson DeChambeau to compete against other renowned athletes. Rodgers’ commitment to golf extends beyond the course as he utilises his resources to aid upcoming talents.
Despite his off-field endeavours, Rodgers remains focused on his football career. Recently released by the New York Jets due to injury setbacks and a subpar team record, the accomplished quarterback is currently seeking a new team for the upcoming 2025 NFL season. With the release of his Netflix docuseries, “Aaron Rodgers: Enigma,” shedding light on his persona, Rodgers continues to make waves in both sports and entertainment circles.
In the competitive realm of professional sports, Rodgers’ altruistic gestures towards budding golfers underscore his desire to uplift and support fellow athletes. While his contributions may have remained under wraps initially, the spotlight is now on his compassionate acts that have made a meaningful impact on the golfing community. As Rodgers balances his sporting endeavours and philanthropic initiatives, his influence transcends the boundaries of football, resonating across different arenas. In a world where sportsmanship and camaraderie are valued, Rodgers exemplifies the essence of giving back and paying it forward in an industry driven by passion and perseverance.
