University of Pittsburgh junior, Sudiksha Konanki, 20, who vanished while on a spring break trip with friends in the Dominican Republic, was captured on video footage at a bar at Riu Republica Resort prior to her disappearance. The footage, shared by a local outlet, showed Konanki socializing at the resort with friends, including a person of interest named Joshua Riibe.

Riibe, who has been identified as a person of interest in the case but has not faced any charges, was spotted in the video alongside Konanki. It is believed that Riibe might have been the last person to have seen Konanski alive before she went missing. The 20-year-old student from Loudoun County, Virginia, was last seen on an early morning beach walk on March 6 during her trip with friends.

Konanki, an Indian citizen, was part of a group of six female Pittsburgh students, one of whom is also a resident of Loudoun County. The group, including Konanki’s friends and Joshua Riibe, have been questioned in relation to her disappearance. Surveillance footage from the hotel lobby and the bar at Riu Republica Resort has shed light on Konanki’s movements in the hours leading up to her vanishing.
