Krispy Kreme Launches Exciting Lineup of Doughnuts for St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations

As St. Patrick’s Day approaches, Krispy Kreme fans are in for a treat with the bakery chain’s latest offerings. Starting from Tuesday, March 11, Krispy Kreme is rolling out four new doughnuts to mark the festive occasion, along with a special giveaway for lucky patrons.
In honour of St. Patrick’s Day, Krispy Kreme has introduced a tantalising array of themed doughnuts. The Pot of Gold Doughnut, Over the Rainbow Doughnut, Choco-Shenanigans Doughnut, and St. Patty’s Swirl Doughnut each bring a unique twist to the traditional Irish holiday.
The Pot of Gold Doughnut features an original glazed doughnut dipped in caramel icing, topped with caramel buttercream and glittery sprinkles. Meanwhile, the St. Patty’s Swirl Doughnut starts with a glazed doughnut base, which is then dipped in a delightful combination of white and green icing, along with white and gold sugar.
Another new addition is the Over the Rainbow Doughnut, an unglazed doughnut filled with cake batter flavour, coated in green icing, and decorated with shamrocks and a rainbow. Lastly, the Choco-Shenanigans Doughnut offers an unglazed version filled with cream, dipped in chocolate icing, and garnished with green icing drizzles and gold sprinkles.
These themed treats will only be available for a limited time, but on the actual St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, a fortunate few will have the chance to win a year’s supply of free original glazed doughnuts. Krispy Kreme will be granting thousands of customers with a coveted Pot of Gold Pass, entitling them to enjoy free original glazed doughnuts for a whole year.
Even for those who may not win the year-long supply, there’s still a chance to indulge in a freebie. From March 15 to March 17, customers dressed in green can receive a complimentary green “O’riginal” glazed doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme outlets.
In addition to Krispy Kreme’s offerings, other fast-food chains are also joining in the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Burger King is enticing customers with a deal on March 17, where they can snag a free order of onion rings with any purchase of $1 or more. Burger King is also running a Combo Combinations promotion until April 11, offering free fries upgrades to options like Chicken Fries, Mozzarella Fries, or Churro Fries for those who download the BK app and activate the deal.
