Kate Middleton is gearing up to attend a significant event on the royal family’s annual calendar after missing it last year. The Princess of Wales will be present at the annual Commonwealth Day Service of Celebration, set to take place at Westminster Abbey in London on Monday, March 10. However, with the completion of her chemotherapy treatment and entering remission, Princess Kate has been gradually resuming her royal duties.
Similarly, King Charles was unable to attend the Commonwealth Service in March 2024 as he had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment. Despite this, he sent a video message to convey his commitment to serving to the best of his ability. Following his treatment continuation into the new year as per palace sources, King Charles has since resumed his public engagements. Queen Camilla stood alongside Prince William to lead the royal family at the church service last year, filling in for the absent King and Princess Middleton.
