A Missouri man has been found guilty of shooting a youth football coach in a disturbing incident related to playing time for his son. Daryl B. Clemmons, aged 45, was convicted of assault and armed criminal action with regards to the 2023 shooting of Shaquille Latimore, a volunteer coach for the City Rec Legends Football League. The altercation took place during a practice game in the Kingsway West neighborhood on October 10, 2023. The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office released a statement confirming the conviction after a trial on Friday, February 28.
