The buses involved in the crash were carrying a mix of passengers, including Italian students from Lloret de Mar and tourists from a cruise ship. Autocares Julià, the bus company operating one of the coaches, disclosed that the critically injured individuals were British, German, and Italian tourists. Emergency services rushed to the scene to tend to the injured, who were subsequently transported to several hospitals in the area for treatment, including Hospital Clínic, Sant Pau hospital, Hospital del Mar, Vall d’Hebron hospital, and Sant Joan de Déu children’s hospital.
