Dawn Staley, renowned coach and WNBA All-Star, is set to release a book detailing her groundbreaking journey in the world of basketball. Titled “Uncommon Favor: Basketball, North Philly, My Mother and the Life Lessons I Learned from All Three,” the book is scheduled for publication in May and offers an exclusive glimpse into Staley’s extraordinary career.
From her humble beginnings playing basketball in the Raymond Rosen Housing Projects in North Philadelphia to her time as a point guard for the University of Virginia, Staley’s path to success was marked by resilience and determination.
