Savannah Chrisley Aims for Presidential Pardon for Parents’ Legal Case
As Todd and Julie Chrisley fight to reverse their sentencing in a high-profile bank fraud and tax evasion case, their daughter Savannah Chrisley steps in to seek alternative methods for their release. The couple, who have been married since 1996, began the appeal process shortly after receiving their sentencing in November 2022. Despite Todd’s unsuccessful appeal, Julie’s appeal was initially granted due to lack of evidence but later upheld with the same sentencing by the overseeing judge.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Savannah, 27, reveals that they are now exploring avenues to seek President Donald Trump’s intervention to pardon Todd, 55, and Julie, 52. The timeline for this new plan remains uncertain, but Savannah is determined to raise awareness around the unjust outcomes her parents have faced in this legal battle. The Chrisleys have consistently maintained their innocence amidst the allegations.
Reflecting on the challenges her family has endured since the indictment in August 2019, Savannah expresses disappointment in the unexpected turn of events. Recalling the support they received and the fight for truth, she shares, “We stood in the truth, and we stood in what we knew to be the truth. We saw the corruption in Fulton County. We saw how the judge handled the case. We just saw all of it, and we’re like, ‘There’s no way. There’s no way it’s going to end this way.’ But, it did.”

Following the legal turmoil, Savannah took on the responsibility of becoming the legal guardian of her younger siblings, Grayson, 18, and Chloe, 12, at just 25 years old. Juggling multiple roles, including hosting her podcast, competing on reality TV shows, and working as a realtor, she persevered through the hardships. Additionally, she is gearing up to launch a direct-to-consumer female pharmacy brand later this year, showcasing her strength and resilience.

Acknowledging the silent battles she has faced, Savannah emphasises the importance of resilience gained through personal struggles. She attributes her unwavering spirit to the encouragement and support from her father, who instilled in her the belief that she could overcome any challenge. Looking to the future, she aims to set an example for her future children by never giving up and standing strong in the face of adversity.
“I have such a fight mentality in me. I’m a Leo to its core. So, I just don’t give up,” she affirms, highlighting her determination to persist despite the obstacles. As she continues to navigate the complexities of the legal system and advocate for her parents, Savannah remains steadfast in her pursuit of justice and exoneration for Todd and Julie Chrisley.
