Chloe Fineman recently shared insights on a Saturday Night Live sketch idea she pitched to actor Timothée Chalamet, revealing that the concept was inspired by the film ‘Babygirl’. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the 36-year-old comedian discussed her collaboration with Chalamet on the iconic show. One skit she had in mind was influenced by the erotic thriller ‘Babygirl’, featuring Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson. However, Chalamet did not seem too keen on the proposed concept.

Fineman humorously mentioned, “I pitched a lot of us touching, or like Babygirl and he’s giving me milk, and he wasn’t really having that milk-Babygirl stuff.” This reference was to the memorable scene in the film where Dickinson’s character orders Kidman’s character a glass of milk at a bar. Despite Fineman’s enthusiasm for the idea, Chalamet did not share her excitement for the ‘Babygirl’-inspired sketch during his SNL appearance.

A fan inquired why Fineman did not showcase her iconic impression of Chalamet while he was hosting the show. She explained that she felt it wasn’t the right moment, mentioning, “I’ve been saying, I feel like I’ve done it twice already this year without him, and I really feel like I’m leaning more, like, L word.” Fineman added a touch of humor by expressing that she felt too old in comparison to Chalamet, jokingly referring to herself as a “cool les lady”. She found it awkward to imitate him in his presence, describing the experience as feeling like a “weird older woman.”
Notably, Fineman had portrayed Chalamet in a sketch back in November, where she spoofed a Timothée Chalamet look-alike contest held in New York. During that episode, former Vice President Kamala Harris was also present, leading to an amusing mix-up. Fineman realized she was dressed as Chalamet when interacting with Harris, revealing her light-hearted reaction to the unexpected encounter.
Reflecting on the incident, Fineman shared, “I don’t look bad as Timothée Chalamet but it’s crazy. It’s crazy.” Despite the playful mishap, the comedian gracefully engaged with Harris and humorously recounted the amusing encounter. The versatile performer continues to bring laughter to audiences on Saturday Night Live, where she showcases her talent for impersonations and comedic sketches.
As fans eagerly anticipate more entertaining moments on SNL, Chloe Fineman’s candid stories about her interactions with Timothée Chalamet behind the scenes provide a glimpse into the creative process and dynamics at the iconic show. The comedic duo’s collaboration may not have included the ‘Babygirl’-inspired sketch, but it surely sparked amusing anecdotes and shared laughter during their time working together.
