Channing Tatum Recalls Filming Naked “Roofman” Scene Without Underwear, Thong or Sock On: ‘Ultimate Worst Nightmare’

Channing Tatum recently shared his experience of filming a challenging nude scene for his upcoming movie, “Roofman,” revealing that it was his “ultimate worst nightmare.” The actor discussed the uncomfortable scene during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In the film, Tatum portrays Jeffrey Manchester, a thief known as the Roofman, who hides in a Toys ‘R’ Us store after escaping from prison. Peter Dinklage plays the store manager who unexpectedly encounters Jeffrey in the nude while cleaning himself in a sink.

During the interview, Tatum expressed the awkwardness of being the only one naked on set while everyone else was clothed. He admitted that typically actors wear some form of covering for nude scenes, such as a thong, underwear, or a sock.
