Oreo Introduces Double Chocolate Cakesters and Golden Birthday Cake Cookies

Oreo, the iconic cookie brand, is adding some sweet treats to its lineup by launching two new cookie flavours. In celebration of the brand’s upcoming birthday, Oreo has announced the release of Double Chocolate Cakesters and the return of the beloved Golden Birthday Cake cookies.
The new Oreo Double Chocolate Cakesters feature two soft chocolate snack cakes filled with a rich chocolate-flavoured creme filling. This flavour is set to become a permanent addition to the Oreo family. On the other hand, the Golden Birthday Cake cookies are a limited-edition treat that boasts birthday cake-flavoured creme filling with rainbow sprinkles nestled between two golden Oreo cookies.
After receiving positive feedback from fans during its initial release on Jan. 3, Oreo is bringing back the popular Oreo Cakester, this time with a double chocolate twist. These delectable cookies will be available in a box of 10 packs starting from Feb. 24.
For longtime Oreo enthusiasts, the return of the Golden Birthday Cake flavour may bring back nostalgic memories, as this limited edition cookie was first introduced as a permanent flavour back in 2013. Fans can expect to find this special treat on shelves starting from Oreo’s official birthday on March 3.
The introduction of these new Oreo flavours coincides with Mondelez’s State of Snacking Report, which highlights the growing trend of consumers connecting with others through snacking. According to the report, 80% of younger consumers feel that snacking brings them closer to others, reflecting the social aspect of enjoying treats like Oreo cookies.
In addition to the new cookie flavours, Oreo recently launched a variety of other products, including Oreo Loaded cookies, which are filled with the original Mega Stuf creme and cookie pieces, Irish Crème Thins, Oreo Minis Peanut Butter, Oreo Bites, and Oreo Mini Bars. The brand has also introduced the Oreo Dunk Club, allowing fans to stay updated on the latest product releases, access exclusive events and giveaways.
