Blake Lively has made a significant revelation in her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni, stating that two of her female co-stars from the movie “It Ends with Us” are willing to testify against Baldoni regarding his alleged behavior on set. The 37-year-old actress filed an amended complaint against the 40-year-old Baldoni in a New York federal court on Tuesday. The court documents did not disclose the identity of the witnesses to protect them from the dangerous climate of threats and intimidation surrounding the case.

Lively’s legal team mentioned that the unnamed witnesses have given their permission for her to share the substance of their complaints about Baldoni’s behavior. They have also agreed to testify and provide relevant documents during the discovery process. The complaints against Baldoni date back to as early as May 2023, while the film was still in production. Lively raised concerns about alleged inappropriate behavior by Baldoni and Jamey Heath, co-chief of Wayfarer Studios, to a Sony executive on May 26, 2023.
Another female cast member reportedly shared her concerns about Baldoni’s behavior with the same Sony executive and another producer. Allegedly, Baldoni acknowledged the concerns in writing on June 1, 2023, and promised adjustments would be made. By June 8, 2023, the same cast member approached Lively to express her discomfort on set. The amended complaint also outlined an incident where a different female cast member confided in Lively about feeling uneasy during filming.

The documented instances of complaints and discomfort were noted almost a year before the editing of the film began. The updated legal filing by Lively is a continuation of her December 2024 lawsuit against Baldoni and other parties involved in the movie. The new filing includes additional evidence and undisclosed communications that support her original claims. A female cast member reached out to Lively in August 2024 seeking help with cyberbullying following the film’s release.
As the legal proceedings continue, Lively and Baldoni are scheduled to go to trial in civil court on March 9, 2026. Both parties have indicated that it would be premature to engage in settlement talks at this stage. Baldoni previously amended his countersuit against Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, sharing the details on a website for his followers to access. The unfolding legal drama highlights the importance of addressing allegations of inappropriate behavior and the complexities of navigating such issues in the entertainment industry.

The support from Lively’s co-stars and the documented timeline of events are crucial aspects of the legal dispute. With the trial date approaching, the focus remains on seeking justice and resolving the allegations through the legal process. The detailed legal filings shed light on the challenges faced by individuals speaking out against misconduct in professional settings. The case serves as a reminder of the importance of accountability and transparency in addressing issues of harassment and inappropriate behavior.
