The family has been identified as grandmother Ladda Polsiri, 57, her daughter Nan Polsiri, 29, son Sarawut Polsiri, 32, his wife Sararat Polsiri, 29, along with their three children Face, 2, Ikkyu, 2, and Honey, 1. Police Lieutenant Colonel Chaikrit Taorat from the Rayong City Police Station shared that some of the victims were found to have perished together, highlighting the intensity of the fire that swept through the entire house. Neighbours rushed to help upon hearing cries for assistance from the family members trapped inside.
