An Alabama man has admitted he tried to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife and 6 adult children. Mohammad Mohammad, 64, pleaded guilty to seven counts of murder for hire, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama announced recently. Federal prosecutors stated that Mohammad met with an undercover agent he believed was a hitman and offered him money to carry out the killings.

According to a federal complaint, a witness told authorities that Mohammad repeatedly asked them to find someone to “take care of” his family members amid divorce proceedings with his wife.
