The first male NFL cheerleader, Napoleon Jinnies, has responded to the recent backlash faced by the Minnesota Vikings for adding two male dancers to their cheer squad. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Jinnies, who made history by joining the L.A. Rams’ cheer squad in 2018, shared his thoughts on the controversy.

Jinnies expressed his exasperation at the criticism, stating, “I’m rolling my eyes.
