Previously, Paige had been living in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and working alongside her father, Ladd, on the family’s cattle ranch since the fall of 2024. The University of Arkansas alum had left her corporate job in Dallas to work on the ranch but later found the office environment restricting. Ree explained that while Paige loved working on the ranch, the decision to move back to Dallas was influenced by David’s job location and their circle of friends in the city.
Ree conveyed that it was a bittersweet moment for her and Ladd to see Paige and David leave the ranch. The couple hopes that their children will eventually return to Oklahoma, but they understand the importance of Paige and David following their own path and making decisions based on what feels right for them at this stage of their lives. Ree expressed her love and support for the couple, mentioning that they are “off to a good start” in their new chapter together in Dallas.

As Ree’s daughters, Paige and Alex, 28, have grown up, they have become valuable collaborators in Ree’s various ventures, including her recent clothing line, Ree by The Pioneer Woman. Ree highlighted the importance of having her daughters’ input in her projects, mentioning that their opinions and tastes have been instrumental in keeping her grounded and ensuring the success of her new fashion line. The new apparel collection was set to launch online on September 17, with on-air segments scheduled for Sunday, September 21.

In reflecting on the evolving dynamics with her adult daughters, Ree expressed her appreciation for the support and perspective they bring to her work. She noted that as her daughters have transitioned into adulthood, their insights have become increasingly valuable in decision-making processes related to her business endeavours. Ree credited her daughters for their honesty and keen eye for design, which has helped her create products that resonate with a wider audience.
Moving forward, Ree and her daughters continue to bond over their shared passion for creativity and entrepreneurship. With Paige and David embarking on a new chapter in Dallas and Alex actively contributing to Ree’s projects, the Drummond family’s journey remains intertwined with growth, love, and collaboration. As Ree navigates the changing tides of family dynamics and business ventures, her daughters stand out as pillars of strength and inspiration, shaping the future of their family’s legacy.
The Drummond family’s story serves as a testament to the enduring bond between parents and children, showcasing the beauty of supporting each other’s individual paths while cherishing the moments of togetherness and shared accomplishments. As Ree embraces the joys and challenges of motherhood and entrepreneurship, her daughters stand by her side, offering their unique perspectives and unwavering support, creating a harmonious blend of family values and professional success.
