Eva Longoria recently shared her experience playing a ‘naughty chef’ alongside Hollywood star George Clooney in a Nespresso ad. The campaign showcases Clooney in the role of a detective tasked with uncovering the thief who stole Nespresso’s colorful coffee capsules from an heiress, with Longoria portraying one of the prime suspects. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, Longoria revealed that her character in the ad wasn’t based on any specific culinary personality, despite her interactions with renowned chefs like Bobby Flay and Michael Symon through her show “Searching for Mexico” and “Searching for Spain”.

The filming of the commercial took place over three days in Rome, where Longoria and Clooney shared plenty of laughs on set. While Clooney is known for his pranks, Longoria mentioned that he was on his best behavior during shooting. She described Clooney as funny, easygoing, and uplifting to everyone on set, highlighting his contagious energy that spreads positivity among the crew.
