Alicia Hannah-Kim Talks About Kissing ‘Cobra Kai’ Co-Star Yuji Okumoto: ‘He Was Afraid’

Alicia Hannah-Kim recently shared her experience of kissing her ‘Cobra Kai’ co-star Yuji Okumoto in an exclusive interview. The 37-year-old actress, in a joint conversation with her husband, Sebastian Roché, revealed details about the combat-infused kiss with Okumoto for the final season of the popular series ‘Cobra Kai’.

Recalling the moment, Alicia mentioned how she jokingly said to the 65-year-old Okumoto, “I’ve been married for 11 years, pucker up, Yuji, we’re going to get it on.” She described Okumoto’s reaction as one of “utter fear” as he looked at her with wide eyes, chewing gum, before agreeing to the scene.

In a particular scene from episode 8 of the sixth season, Alicia’s character Kim Da-Eun engages in an intense conversation with Yuji’s character Chozen Toguchi, which leads to a fight culminating in a kiss between the two characters.
