Reflecting on their anniversary, Hannah Godwin, 30, revealed, “We were talking about this and we’ve decided we’re more birthday people because our wedding celebration was at my dad’s wedding.” She added, “It was on the same day as our wedding, which we were totally cool with, and we love him and his wife. And they were like, ‘We only have these two weekends available.’ And we’re like, ‘Go for it.’ Which is hilarious.”
Dylan Barbour, 31, chimed in, explaining how their day unfolded, “We celebrated her dad’s wedding, your mom’s birthday, our other friend’s birthday and then at some point in time we’re going to go to dinner…and our wedding, on the same day.” The couple managed to blend multiple celebrations into a single day, combining various family events with their own wedding anniversary festivities.
