Jordon Hudson, a former cheerleader, recently uncovered a subtle nod to pop star Taylor Swift in the unique interior design of her and boyfriend Bill Belichick’s home. The 24-year-old shared a sneak peek inside their residence on her Instagram Stories, revealing an interesting detail about their bathroom wallpaper. On July 17, Hudson disclosed that the wallpaper is crafted from old newspapers that Belichick, 73, found in the original structure of the house before they renovated it.
In a surprising twist, one of the clippings on their bathroom wall features a photo of silent film star Clara Bow. This connection became evident as Clara Bow is referenced in a song by Taylor Swift released in 2024. Hudson shared a brief video on her Instagram Story showcasing the vintage newspaper piece, which includes a headline about Bow’s thrilling rescue from drowning. She aptly paired the post with Swift’s track from her album “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Displaying their environmentally-conscious approach to decorating, Hudson highlighted the sustainability aspect of their decorative style in a subsequent post. Embracing the concept of recycling, she wrote, “P.S. Recycling is cool,” alongside another glimpse of their newspaper-covered wall. The accidental Taylor Swift “Easter egg” in their home decor adds a touch of pop culture to their living space.
The couple, Hudson and Belichick, first sparked romantic rumours in 2023 but only made their relationship public in June 2024. According to a New York Times article from May 20, Hudson has reportedly mentioned to at least one person that she and the Super Bowl-winning coach are engaged. Their social media presence offers glimpses into their relationship, with Hudson often sharing light-hearted moments with Belichick on her Instagram Stories.
In May, Hudson playfully teased their age-gap romance by captioning a sunset dinner photo with “Old Bay with my old bae,” referencing their meal alongside a can of Old Bay seasoning. The couple’s playful interactions and shared moments on social media have garnered attention from fans and media alike, offering a peek into their relationship dynamic.
Hudson’s revelation of the Taylor Swift reference in their wallpaper adds a new layer of intrigue to their home decor choices. The accidental homage to the pop star demonstrates the unexpected connections that can be found in everyday life, even within the confines of one’s home.
