A police officer was arrested at a Disney resort in Florida and charged in connection with a kidnapping incident that took place during a house party in Mississippi. The accused officer, David Cunningham, a 22-year-old from Mobile, Alabama, was apprehended in Orange County, Florida, on June 3 following allegations of unlawfully detaining a man. The incident occurred on May 24 in Harrison County, Mississippi, where Cunningham reportedly handcuffed a 21-year-old man at a house party and placed him in the back of his squad car, even though he had no official jurisdiction in the state. The arrest was based on a felony count of kidnapping.
