These individuals face charges ranging from conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to kidnap, to possession of criminal property and other serious offenses.

The group of nine suspects have been accused of participating in an organized crime group with the motive to kidnap and murder Cahalane. As per reports, on June 2, six of the suspects including Paris Wilson were charged with murder, while five of them pleaded not guilty to all charges during a hearing at Plymouth Crown Court on June 3.
