In court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Bailey is seeking both sole legal and physical custody of Halo, along with a request to prohibit DDG from having visitation rights. However, she has proposed supervised visits for DDG through a professional company once a week for six hours while in Los Angeles. Additionally, Bailey is urging the court to prevent DDG from taking Halo outside of Los Angeles County.
Bailey has also raised concerns about potential child abduction, citing DDG’s history of abusive behavior towards her and threats to take away or hide Halo. She is urging the court to restrict DDG from relocating with Halo without her consent, surrendering important documents, or applying for passports for Halo without her permission. Further, she is requesting detailed travel information if DDG is permitted to travel with Halo.
The actress has recounted various instances where she tried to establish a visitation schedule with DDG for Halo, one of which turned physical in January. Bailey alleges that DDG became aggressive during a visitation exchange, leading to a physical altercation where she sustained injuries. She emphasizes feeling unsafe and highlights instances of emotional distress caused by DDG’s behavior.
In response to these events, Bailey has sought a temporary restraining order against DDG, which was granted by the court to ensure a safe distance of at least 100 yards between DDG, Bailey, and Halo at all times. The legal proceedings are ongoing, with a court hearing scheduled for June 4 to address the custody and visitation arrangements for Halo.
Representatives for both Bailey and DDG have not yet responded to requests for comments on the matter.
